Ready to Go!

Writing it down

A co-worker suggested using a notebook to write down a trip itinerary and keep printouts of tickets and confirmations. I bought some notebooks on Amazon that have positionable dividers with pockets. I used 3 dividers for each stage of our trip (Wales, London, Paris) and the fourth for notes. I have a detailed itinerary from our travel planner, but the app they use doesn’t let me put my own notes in. So in the notebook I put things like “turn on notifications for London transit app” for when we leave for London.

I will be interested to see how this works. The notebook is a little heavy and I don’t know if I can carry it around with me. It is better than a file folder.

So now I have a travel itinerary app on my phone and iPad, a notebook with printed tickets, and a PDF version of the entire itinerary with attachments in my Evernote account. Even my backups have backups!

Good idea. I have often thought of it, but never really had the will to go on...
